Paintball Dad
I’ve been playing paintball for 20 years now. During that time I’ve played recreationally, in a college league, a national league, and some regional leagues. Paintball has been a huge part of my life, and now so is being a dad. I’ve noticed a lot of young dads at my local paintball fields and tournaments and it seems to me like there’s a growing trend of families getting involved in paintball, just as with mainstream sports. I want to document this part of my life as I navigate through fatherhood and paintball. I’ll be uploading videos of recreational game play, tournament play, product review, paintball advice, dad advice, and of course some videos of my kids trying to get involved in the paintball world as well.

Started playing on my 15th birthday. All I was familiar with was woodsball and I wanted to go all the way with it. I bought a First Strike T15 and after playing with it once, I knew this wasn’t going to work out. It wasn’t until I turned 19 that I saw airball and I wanted to get into that. My first tournament marker was a Planet Eclipse Etha. The Carolina Warriors was born out of 5 friends who wanted to get into tournament ball but I wasn’t told about PBLeagues so I couldn’t play. After that hump, I played with them in 3 man events and soon our first 5 man, which did not go well for us. I took a 2 year break but couldn’t get away from wanting to compete so in 2023, I rejoined the team to play XBall events in the Carolinas and North Georgia.
